What's the meaning of "maintenance" ? Back in service afterwards ? Rumours about aquired an Airbus A330F gone or still an option ? No charter replacements planned for the (contract) cargo ?

Dont know about what kind of maintenance, if correct starting the 13th of August. No replacement, and we can only hope it will return out of the maintenance. Cargo markets are very weak at the moment, so all toghetter
it is very uncertain what will happen in the near future.

There are also rumours civil A310 aircrafts will be banned in the EU as from 2017. They should need some equipment onboard, costs arround the million, anyone about this?

This must be about Mode S Elementary Surveillance (ELS), which is required on all civil aircraft from december 7 2017 onwards. Since this means extra avionics, the price will indeed not be cheap.

However, this doesn't mean that A310s will be banned. In fact, the ELS has to be installed on all aircraft, so also TKs A330 (and RJ's future AC) will be affected.

update 11/11.
Royal Jordanian ends A330 operations. Maybe a chance that one or both planes will be converted to full freighters acc. earlier rumours ? ( and replace JY-AGQ )

Talked to the A310 crew yesterday. Another 3 weeks before the 330F will go into service. Around the 1st of May.

Royal Jordanian gets first A330 freighter
Amman-based Royal Jordanian Airlines has recently taken delivery of their first Airbus A330-200 freighter. The aircraft was handed over to the carrier on July 4th. The A330F was previously operated by Malaysian Airlines’ cargo department. The new addition will join RJ’s only other freighter, an Airbus A310-300F in serving the Jordanian carrier’s cargo routes from Amman to North America, Europe, Asia and Africa. It is rumored that another A330-200F will soon follow into the fleet. Royal Jordanian operates to 51 destinations with a fleet of 27 aircraft.
