How is this old news when not shared?
So far I noticed lately that there's more ad-hoc flights from Ethiopian and CargoLogic indeed. Any news about that?
I really liked this forum for its insider news and rumours before it was "big", but lately there's only a select group of people who seem to know everything and the only news that will be shared comes from 1limburg or luchtvaartnieuws.
For me a bit dissapointing as this used to be a very high-rated source before..

Some insiders may have more information than others but in order to safeguard their jobs or positions, they cannot always "spill the beans" and reveal the latest developments. Contracts may not yet be signed, maybe confidentiality agreements were made between customer and airport restricting the news to be published. Learning the latest news from watching L1 or WijLimburg is not by definition bad news.
TCGI surely has plans with the airport, in my opinion it can initially be an overflow airport for cargo operations which cannot be scheduled into Amsterdam because of slot restrictions. The first potential new customer was mentioned in an interview with Ismail Durmaz, TCGI’s CEO, published in “De Limburger” not too long ago.

Is this normal scheduled maintenance or is this related to the possible approval for using the whole runway?

Extra maintenance due bad runway condition

Regarding the Ryanair website, the runway-works will be one week later (starting from 19 Sept.)
That week, Ryanair cancelled all their flights from/to MAA.
Looks like it makes more sense; Vueling can complete their schedule at MAA (last flight is planned on Sept. 15).

http://www.1limburg.nl/veel-rook-bij-brand-vliegveld-beek
